Information about Bustleton Memorial American Legion Post 810

We were founded in 1946, just after the end of World War II, to benefit local Philadelphia veterans during peacetime. Because the American Legion is the largest Veterans Organization in the county, with more than 3 million members, joining means never being alone.

We have a strong sense of pride and commitment - our members are extremely active in aiding both veterans and residents of the Philadelphia area.

If you become a member of Post 810, you will have access to local, regional, and national resources for veterans.

You will also have access to multiple private functions and events. At our post, we frequently have private functions for members and their families, including holiday parties, fundrasers, trips, and a whole lot more. In addition, membership to the American Legion family grants you access to our canteen.

The canteen is a private bar located below American Legion Post 810. The canteen has cheap drinks and plenty of entertainment, including shuffleboard, pool tables, big screen TVs, and more. It is a quiet place to grab a drink for yourself and a guest.

Our American Legion baseball team is another highlight of our post. Each year, Post 810, fields a team of the area's best baseball players, comprised of local Philly high school players thriving under the guidance of coaches and Legion members. We have a strong history of success in the American Legion Baseball program. For more information, please check out our Legion Baseball page.
